It seemed like as good a time as any....

Four years (four years!) on, as I take refuge from Facebook I am considering reviving one blog or another, or starting fresh, or going retro and keeping a handwritten journal. On one hand, why blog when everyone else is microblogging and there is little, if anything, interesting and original left to say? On the other hand, links to Pearl Jam videos on YouTube are of little utility in a pen-and-paper diary. Thoughts? Opinions? Is there anybody out there?
